Painting with Food !And getting to eat it ! I guess being that we have to eat as a general rule to live,I make the best of it by trying to try as many different things as I can.I grew up in an Italian neighborhood with an Italian father and have taken this to be my favorite food to cook and eat.I do have a garden and love to go for walks and find trees and and plants that are wild.My favorite plant that I have in my backyard is a fig tree that the previous owner who died let the tree almost die to the point it was just a ratty looking bush.I aske an old Italian man across the street to show me what to do and we now have the tree growing nice figs on it after these three yrs. To preserve it you litterally have to dig the ball of the roots up ,lay the tree down in a grave like hole and bury it so as the frost wont kill it.
We make a Pasta dish up here called Chicken Rigatoni that my freinds and co-workers clamour for,and I do appease them when I can with a good 3 lbs.of this Creamy deligtlful creation.
