I`m a musician and creative spirit ,want to share?
I live in the Central Sierra foothilss mostly these days, and as such I eat pretty simply, fresh salads and fruits, and barbequed meat/fish/poulty and occasional grilled vegetables and roots. When I was a city dweller I did enjoy a wide varitey of foods, though. One of the draws to living in the foothills is the ease of growing hot peppers, particularily habaneros. I LOVE hot and spicy foods! If I am out of salad dressing I will just use habanero sauce as the dressing, it certanly spices up a salad, or about anything really! I like Thai, African, Central and S. American foods, Asian and middle-eastern foods, most European foods, etc. I'll try almost anything once. I didn't really care for guinea pig BBQ in Peru, but more because it was bony and over-salted more than anything else. Likewise with Bacalao, a Portuguese 'national' dish... the time i tried it it was not only exceedingly salty (salted dried cod) but it was very pungent, to put it politely...Table salt and ground black peppercorns are not high on my list of spices or condiments...
