ethnic fushionist started seriously cooking when i was sixteen. heavy influenced by "the french chef" and "the galloping gourmet". since then i have read about cooking, watched tv shows about cooking and taken a couple of classes. i have been influenced by many people since my "early" days, but lately mostly by Alton Brown. i do like knowing why i'm doing something rather than just following a recipe. my background of being a military brat left me with a taste for mexican and asian foods. since then have aquired other tastes and have let myself slip into the fusion realm. i like to use ethnic ingrediants and fuse them with ethnic cooking methods. turns out pretty well. at least my friends say so.
